What Is Love is a song performed by EXO. It served as their first "prologue" single from their debut record MAMA (2012) followed by History. The Korean version was performed by EXO-K's Baekhyun and D.O. while the Chinese version was performed by EXO-M's Chen and Luhan.
Release[]
On January 30, 2012, EXO released its first single prologue which entitled 'What Is Love', with both the Korean version and the Chinese version revealed.
The song was released on sites such as iTunes, MelOn, Dosirak, Soribada, Naver Music and on Chinese sites such as Baidu. In addition, the music video served as an opportunity to reveal 2 new members, D.O. and Baekhyun. And additionally, revealing the members in their respective sub-units.
On February 14, 2012, the tenth member and leader of EXO-K, Suho was revealed. The next day, the eleventh member and leader of EXO-M, Kris was revealed. On February 22, 2012, the twelfth and the last member, Chanyeol was revealed.
